The Exteriors
Outside, Casa Geco Essentia opens up to the quiet of the countryside. Shaded pergolas, reading corners, and open-air lounges offer various spaces to unwind throughout the day, immersed in light and nature.
The private pool, 58 square meters, is the heart of the outdoor spaces: a place to swim or relax and fully enjoy the slow rhythm of summer days.
Nearby the spacious veranda with an outdoor kitchen and a large table becomes the center of outdoor living, made for slow breakfasts, long lunches and sunset dinners in complete privacy.
The Mediterranean garden surrounding the house is home to olive and fruit trees, native plants, and aromatic herbs. In summer, the scent of strawberry grapes and the chance to pick figs and almonds make the experience even more authentic and deeply connected to the land.
The Interiors
Casa Geco Essentia was born from a carefully restored traditional lamia, where rural charm meets essential contemporary design creating an intimate retreat designed to welcome you and make you feel immediately at home. It is a space where light enters softly, silence accompanies the days, and every room invites you to slow down. Natural materials, thoughtfully chosen furnishings, and lived-in objects tell a story of time, imperfections, and authentic beauty. A careful and respectful restoration, designed with a focus on reclaimed materials and solar energy. Located just a few kilometers from the villages of the Itria Valley, the sea, and the Torre Guaceto Nature Reserve, it is the ideal starting point for exploring the region or simply pausing to breathe.
Entering the villa, you are welcomed into an intimate and quiet space, where vaulted ceilings, textured walls, and original details preserve the authentic character of the lamia, reinterpreted through a minimalist and contemporary lens.
The entrance features a small lounge with a daybed that can serve as a comfortable single bed when needed. From here, you access the two bedrooms: one with a french bed, private bathroom, and a small study and the other with a king bed and a fireplace that adds warmth and character to the room.
The living area, separate from the kitchen, is bright and cozy, opening directly onto the veranda and the pool to create a natural continuity between indoors and outdoors.
The house is equipped with air conditioning and heating in every room, ensuring comfort in every season.
